I spent about an hour talking to someone who could barely speak English this weekend to remove my credit freeze. (I lost my PIN) After very long pauses after LOTS of questions, I was told it was removed for one week and was given a confirmation #.

On Monday my bank still could not access my report. Today I called EquiFax and they said it was not completed even though it was supposed to be. This company is completely incompetent. Wasting my time and that of my bank.

Why is Equifax the preferred company for credit reporting? Ridiculous. Now I have to waste more time writing a letter to EquiFax since their poor speaking Customer Service could not do their job.

It's also wasting the time of my bank. EquiFax should have to reimburse me and my company for the time I have to spend doing this again do to their incompetence.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1000.
