Ordered free credit report but never received
i went to the free credit report government website and ordered a free credit report for Equifax. For whatever reason, Equifax could not or would not verify my information and required that I send copy of my drivers license and W-2 form showing my social security number.
they supposedly received my request and supposedly sent the report to me. I waited 3 weeks and never received the report. I called them up and they said they would send the report again - well another 3 weeks have gone by and still no report.
they said I could buy a report on their website if that would be easier.. this is a scam

So true!! I didn't even want a subscription.
Informed them 6 months ago did not want a subscription. The super I spoke with informed me she will refund what I paid ONLY to pay $30 to view my credit scores.
Six months later I see on my bank statement they have still been charging me $20 subscription!
When I asked them after being in the phone more than an hour with rude, incompetent agents I was told they can not do refunds and placed blame on billing! STAY AWAY FROM EQUIFAX!!!
