I contacted Equifax at 877-784-**** today around 1245pm az time to advise them that some information on my credit report was incorrect. I had a hard time A:finding a number for them and B: understanding the womens HEAVY eastern indian accent.

After stated to the rep that i needed to correct information she paused, and stated some script about how they keep information and how long and blah blah blah and then paused, while i was thinking she would then ask what information she said HELLO? i replied by telling her that what she just read was not my case and that i needed to dispute information that EQUIFAX is putting on my credit and not information a creditor had put on there. She then asked me to hold for 1 to 2 minutes, i said ok and she put me on hold. After about 10 seconds she came back and asked if there was anything else she could help me with.

I was now upset, had she not heard anything i said to her? so i politely asked for a supervisor, she asked why and i told her, it was because she was not helping me with what i needed help with, she then asked AGAIN why i need a supervisor, so i was now rude told her it was because she was incompetent and not listening to me, she then said uhhh ok and put me on hold and never came back, i waited 10 minutes. So i hung up and called back to immediately ask for a supervisor to file a complaint, the kind gentlemen ask why and i told him again and finally he got a supervisor. Thinking the supervisor would help, i was wrong.

He got on the phone and said "This is Mark" and said "uh yes Mark, i need to file a complaint about a previous representative" and then explained what happened. He reply you ask, well he said "uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, yes" even after i stopped talking, then he said, hello? i said yes hello, so yeah like i just said i need to file a complaint. He then asked, Why?

so i went over it AGAIN with him. Only this time i went slower, because it seems they do not understand english nor listen well. I was SHOCKED at his next statement of "i am sure she had good reason, is there anything else i can help you with?" ....... i said yes, may i please have the number to your offices in the united states, preferably the corporate office.

he affirmed he is in Atlanta Georgia, knowing the weather there today is pretty decent after some nasty storms i stated, oh preparing for the hurricane? he replied, HURRICANE? i said yes, Issac, he then said there is no hurricane Issac...... i then again asked for the US number because he was OBVIOUSLY not in the US, he then asked if i was calling him a liar and began to yell at me!

I told him i KNOW he is a liar because everyone in the south KNOWS there is a hurricane heading that way and he is a bold *** liar and i want to talk to someone in the states.

He told me "Thank you for calling Equifax, please call us again if you have any other idiotic questions or need to be a $$hole again, is there anything else i can help you with?" i said yes, THE NUMBER PLEASE SIR, he said sorry no, anything else, i was pretty pissed at this point and told him to go *** himself, he said and i quote "thank you and i will make sure to note you social security so i can *** while im at it" and then hung up.

WHO RUNS A COMPANY IN THE US BUT OUTSOURCES OUR SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION TO ANOTHER COUNTRY. WTF

I am beyond pissed, and am sending a letter to Equifax to remove all my information from their systems ASAP, as i have never contracted with them, or ever allowed them to have any of this confidential information this is illegal and i will be seeking legal counsel.

Monetary Loss: $18.

EVERY, SINGLE THING WRITTEN ABOVE = T R U E. I've had similar experiences multiple times with similar reps whose English skills are questionable at best.

EQUIFAX--YOU NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. FOREVER.
